what made you happy today

Sanjay made me happy today... being able to play with him first thing in the morning. Nothing like a baby to keep you happy and he makes me very happy with his smiles. Also the fact that I can give a rescue dog a second chance in life.

Yep babies certainly do cheer you up don't they.....

No there's not and he is wonderful Sanjay has now mastered the belly laugh and it just makes me laugh when he does. His smiles and antics make my day everyday. He is very near and dear to me. A very special boy indeed.

They do have that effect and your right Liz you do just want to cuddle him I am lucky I get to do that every day... he is a lovely little boy. Mali says you have to train them early.... (throwing the ball that is...)

Well JJ helped me give the lounge a good clean today made it a lot easier... (that indeed made me happy)

That's good my cleaner came today and the place is nice and fresh so that makes me happy!!

Well my daughter phone me today and we had a good chat for an hour ..she's been on holiday and I haven't seen her for a couple of weeks .. that made me really happy she's a busy bee and we only live about 6 miles away from each other but don't see each other much but the funny thing is we only have to think of each other and one of us phone and say thats weird cos I was just thinking of you..........

I'm outta time but just had to say, I'm happy I had some time to catch up here !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I am happy because JJ has decided to decorate the dining room..whoooooooo but don't like the house being in a mess ..

Our place is so small so when we do anything the whole place is turned upside down...

Well I had lunch today with my mum, her sisters Jill and Marian. I then went and seen my good friend Anne and Lil so a good day all round now i am stuffed oh and the other thing that made me happy was seeing Lorie's beautiful poodles on here and her back participating!!

Wow! A Hurricane is going by and we will get lots of rain today! I'm grooming all day and tomorrow taking the girls to a shopping center that is over the top dog friendly! I'll take pics!
Natalie got home from the vet yesterday after being spayed. The entire staff is in love with her.
When they brought her out she hopped up to look over the counter at me. She is such a PERSON!!!
Our freind came over yesterday afternoon and was horrified to find we spayed her. I had to explain that her temperment and beauty is pretty common in standards if they are bred right and that she is far from perfect anyway and breeders are supposed to be breeding to better the breed standard, not make money off them and after everything breeders do to take care of the puppies and vet bills there isn't a ton of money left anyway.
Now he gets it. Phew, educating the ignorant, one person at a time.

It is the way to do it... and your right in desexing her Hilary is off next month to be done. One dumbass person at a time and hopefully the message will get through. Cesar Millan advocates desexing and I am glad he does perhaps people will listen to him and get their dogs done. The problem is that it costs money and it is not cheap here in Australia they need to have subsidized neutering clinics. We have the national desexing network here that has certificates that the vets recognised if they work with that group but it all cost money and hilary was quoted at $220 for a three and bit kilo mini foxie!! My vet in geelong used to charge me that for a adult german shepherd!!

With the NDN certificate this brings it down to $160 that is fine so September 20 th she goes in... for the big whoops little snip.

Ya, it was 270.00 $ Not cheap.

No not cheap at all.. vets know how to charge.... like wounded bulls.

Well IT RAINED over night here in Jimboomba so that has made me really happy as we had no water left and had to turn the tank over to council (gross disgusting) water yesterday...So I am really happy. It might only be 5mls but it is a start. We spent all weekend pulling up a 18mtr garden are potting plants putting in new lights and watering system so now the rain has settled all the mess which is fantastic......next weekend 2.5 cubic metres rocks....

I have one of Angels pups coming to visit today from her last years litter. She will be so excited to see her. She was called apple but her forever name is abby. she has a big lab sister called hannah. We havent seen them since she left last year. Angel has recognised all her previous pups and she mothers them straight away by trying to turn them on her back to clean her bits lol. I will put up photos when i get time

hey all, good to see everyone can find something to be happy about, ive been busy trying to paint the inside of my house, been busy with callouts etc, it always makes me happy when i get to chat with my dearest friend Kel, we can always find something to laugh about

What made me happy today was that we did a boot sale and got rid of a lot of tat and made some lovely pennies for the pot

Great stuff Liz!! I spent the day at home with Sanjay playing and enjoying his company while the girls went and picked up diva the miniature pony!! Yes she has arrived. Also today is the first day of spring winter is still here in theory but spring has sprung!! Now to get over the revolting summer... way tooo hot here!!!
