Horses...

Hi yesterday we had a wonderful day here we all went off to the local pony club in Smythesdale just outside of Ballarat for their annual gymkhana. Lori and Ashalyn had entered with Addy and Pepper. It was a glorious sunny day and we all had a good time watching the events. Ashalyn went in the costume class for horse and rider and came third first prize was awarded to a young boy on a grey pony dressed as a knight in full battle gear and it was a wonderful costume. Below are Ash and Addy in the ring, Lori also competed on Addy who won the obstacle course and came second in showjumping. Living in the country is completely different than the city and I much prefer the way of life to tell you the truth. I love living with the horses and the people I do they have become a very large part of my life. As my chinese sign is the horse perhaps that has something to do with it.

What amazes me is he just takes it all in his stride. Just plods around he is an amazing horse.

we had a couple of bomb proof horses... they are great fun to dress up...

They are and Addy will let a complete beginner ride him or a experienced rider he is really worth his weight in gold... Lori adores him and all of us think he is something pretty special.
