Re: Nite Nite
Well I am heading off to bed now it has been along day today. Been to see the surgeons have to have another MRI on my left foot it is still going good but has patches of red around it and rather than be sorry they want to see what is going on inside the foot. I also have to go and see the podiatrist, plastic surgeons and neurologist my nerves in my left arm are damaged and they need to do some testing and possibly surgery to rectify that... lets hope that surgery is not required!! After all that I got another eight weeks of funding for my dressings and nursing... these are very expensive items I will continue to be on intravenous antibiotics. My surgeon Jeremy has now left the hospital and I am glad I got to see him one more time. He is off to melbourne to do more study and has been accepted into neurosugery which I was really pleased with that is what he wants to specialise in and there are only three positions available in Australia and he got one. I am going to miss him terribly now I have to break in the new surgeon!! Well that is my day today just had a hot chocolate now off to bed. Hello to you Liz will catch up soon. Kind Regard Louise Mali and Hilary.

Louise it does sound like you have been through a lot lately... JJ has had several ops on his arm which has left the nerves in his arm damaged and now has to suffer lots of pain and is on pain killers constantly so good luck when you go to see your surgeon ..

Re: Nite Nite
I have just been to the hospital because I keep getting pains in my left knee and have to have a small op as I have a torn cartilage.. had to be tested for MRSA first but seems a bit strange as it could be weeks before I actually have the op!!!!!

Re: Nite Nite
MRSA had that and lost a toe to it!! Now when I go to hospital they put me in a single room for infection control!! Has it's advantages however since being diagnosed with it at Geelong I have always had a single room in Ballarat which is okay no one to bother you. It is not a nice thing to have. Emma sorry to hear you have had the flu not a good thing at all. Hope all goes well with your knee Liz that must be painful... today I go for my MRI so we will see what happens from there... wish me luck. Louise

Re: Nite Nite
I am hoping that it is not a hospital stay to be honest with you or more surgery I really do not think that it is that bad but the MRI will tell what exactly is wrong if there is anything wrong. Yesterdays test was one of the most painful ones I have ever had my back was killing me.
