Keeping your dog cool in summer

I though I would tell everyone what we use for our dogs. Our dogs have their own wadding pool! We use those kids clamshell pools and fill them half with water. Our dogs use this everyday and splash and dig the water. We buy them from the recycle market next to the tip. Only cost $2 there so when one breaks just grab anotherone. Only have to replace one a year as my dogs dont destroy them but they are fantastic.
Also if you are goung on a long car trip and want to give your dog a treat put some peanut butter in a Kong toy and freeze it the night before. It will keep your dog occupied for hours.

also freese some big blocks of ice to add in the dogs water or as an iceblock for the dog!!
i do this as well and they love it !!!

Ha ha kool we frezze dog bones and there dog roll they love it and i keeps the busy.

we also let them into the house when it is very hot (air con) that keeps them very cool.

we also pour water on the pavers our side in the shade and they lie down there.

i sometimes hose zander down!!
wet his face and underelly etc!! on extremly hot day!
we dont have an aircon but i want to get one before summer and if i get one they all will be inside out of the heat all together!!!!!
this years gonna be hot so any ideas people have plz let us no it will be very usefull

My girls sit in the aircon when they get a chance but they love their pool. I freeze their bones also keeps them going abit longer.
