wow are they a type of finch? never heard of a gouldian but i havent had many birds only canaries and budgies oh and cant forget louie!

the indian ringnecks can be very noisy, but they are always in good feather and plenty of colours avail now, what area are you in? theres usually plenty around, they have a massive sale in Gunnedah each yr, biggest in OZ.
BETH, i breed the english lines and i show them in toowoomba, when i was in switzerland last yr, i managed to go and see a gentleman over there, he didnt have a real big setup, but he had some of the best budgies you would ever see, very nice bloke, and i got a few good pix of them.
the Gouldian finch is probably one of the easiest of the finches to breed apart from zebs, they only require a box and some grass, they dont mind u poking ur nose in for a look, if u tried that with other finches they would just desert the nest and let the young die, the only thing the gouldian requires is a draught free cage, cold winds will kill them, other than that they are easy to get along with. cheers

yes i no they can be noisey but also can be a great pet i really want a yellow but have seen more nice colours

Just beautiful birds I am a huge fan of blue wrens actually they are stunning little birds (the wild ones)
