Including Liz... no we all shared a vanilla pound cake easy and quick. He had a wonderful day but then he is a wonderful dog. George says thanks for all his birthday greetings. Wow Natalie a year old also when was it her birthday. There is a standard poodle at club I think about her all the time when I see it. I just love poodles (standards) one those dogs I would love to own one day.

Nat was Jan.28, Ming Feb 28.
I have started a fancy ass haircut on Natalie. I'll take pics soon when I get some more details in. Think Spirals..

I was hoping to get it in writing but it's pretty much a done deal. My work hours are going to change from 40 to 30 hours!
It was my own suggestion in response to a request for ideas to save the Board of Ed. money.

My union is filled with "good ol boys" who soooo resent me just for being a woman and doing this job...so they were very opposed and thought they had the right to vote it down , but soon found out they have no say and it is up to the superintendent!

I have wanted to quit altogether but the ins. and benifits are pretty good and Michael would kill me. This is a step toward growing my business and having some breathing room! Some more time for the girls too

I laid out a plan for my school and they went for it! No reason they shouldn't, my immediate boss is not thrilled I went over his head either but oh well. He basically ignores me anyway and I do my own thing. He hasn't evn mentioned it.

Well, 40 hours is a normal bussiness week here , what is normal there?
I know in other countries work schedules are more reasonable, that the US is on the fast track to burn out, working too much.
And, the men who are complaining do not work here they work at other schools!

Well JJ has just told me that our normal working week is also 40 hours but I suppose I am just our of touch because as soon as I had my kids (that was 32 years ago) I always worked part time and JJ always worked for himself so he worked long long hours......

40 hours is a normal working week here in australia as well. Well lorie an extra 10 hours will give you more time for the girls and the business think of it as a positive thing. Still a bummer though.

NONO! It was MY idea!I don't really care about the paycheck just the insurance! I need more time to groom and ,um, breathe once in a while!
