HAHA typing now LOL his name is Gobbler!!

TEHE, Ok so today we found a baby bird on our driveway, we think he is a dove or well not sure as his beak is just like our baby white doves..

No food in crop, ICE cold and week, So we took him inside, palced him on a heat pack and mixed up some hand raising mix... he GOBBLED it down hence the name...

We are not sure of what to do with him, wether to take him to a carer or just raise him ourselves. ANY WAY we will sort that out later for now he is settled in a little box with a warm heat pack and a full crop!!

he is jsut toooo adorable GAA smitten We have raised MANY doves in our time so if he makes it we think we will do it our selves as non native endangerd birds often end up KILLED!!

What a sweetie... boy Emma you really do love your animals.... he like the staffy pup is one lucky little bird... he fell into the right hands or driveway...

haha you remind me of what I was like when I was young... my mum even read a poem to my husband on our wedding day telling him to look out because i will never leave a stray animal....
Your little staffy is gorgoeus enjoy her while she is little they grow so quick..

Well Stella and Zena a fast asleep on their chair now SOO cute.. I ha
ve just given Goobler another feed her has taken another 4ml and is going toilet which is a good since his internals are working..
Will be touch and go with this guy as we haev no idea if he has any thing serious WRONG in a week we sould know if he will survive!!

Off to bed for me and up in another hr to re heat gobblers heat pack and make sure he is ok.

Bloody hell dedication... I used to take in every stray but not now I just have to close my eyes to it. It sounds like Gobbler is doing well update us soon.

Oh Emma, Your place should be called the "Do drop inn" like our place. We to have had a fair share of animals that just want to be up here from birds to pet bunnies to dogs. Well done and you are a blessing to these animals keep up your good work. You are rewarded everyday with these animals loving you and that is the best feeling.

Gobbler is doing well He has a BAD leg we think he has injured it when he fell. But all the signs point to a happy little birdie.. I barely got any sleep LOL as i was constantly worried he would be to HOT or to cold!!

HEHE we have just gone a gotten Little Stella's xmas gift, collar lead and new food dish!!! She is already up to no good chasing the chooks up and down the PEN!!! Oh well looks like when they have free range she will NOT!!

HAHA LOL, i would have to have a keepers licence ect before i could do that I am also not alowed Dogs as the wild animals will bond with them and they need to see domestic pets as DANGER i LOVE roo's and such but could not live without a dog!!..

OH lorie in some parts od OZ it i legal to keep roo's as pets not sure of the legistical side but i know people with them..

Kangaroos and so forth are a bit like Lions and Tigers they are not pets but wild animals and best left for the professionals to take care of them. Not my idea of a pet a kangaroo but if I were allowed to have one fantasy pet it would be a Lion a great big male one... now how hypocritical is that one!!

OH i know i soooo would love a gorrila HAHA my Oma adors them like me they are just the most majestic creatures.

Gorillas are beautiful... I would agree love those great big silver backs.
