We are very lucky with Herbie he doesn't mind being bathed which is a godsend as he has an allergy and has to be shampooed in a special shampoo every week

you are indeed lucky.
woofy is scared of taking baths. i just don't know why. even when he was a pup, my mom and i have bathed him. he's still not used to it hello Icon_scratch

What about when you are out does he like to jump in any streams or puddles... Herbie is a devil he will find the muddiest puddle he can....

i think he doesn't mind walking on puddles of water.
my parents and i once brought him to the beach, i was surprised when he went in to the water. hello Icon_eek

Herbie like the beach but not too sure of the waves... he gets brave but when the waves come he turns and runs away like mad..

he haven't did that. i just noticed that when there are birds flying near our house, he looks up at them

Herbie just loves to chase them and also he loves to chase the squirrels and even has a special bark so when he is in the wood we know he has chased one up the tree and he then he usually sits under the tree until he is sure it isn't coming down again...
