what would you do?
ok so i live in mt druitt sydney nsw now anyways i travel along luxford rd almost every day and for the last few weeks i have driving past a house with signs saying rotty cross pups for sale
now for me to drive past without stoping to have a look is unusual
well 2 days ago i decided to stop
well it was a bad idea
here are the reason i wish i never stopped
* their drive way was all torn up and not sutiable for my car
*they werent really rotty crosses they were more like a lot of bitzas lol(father:rotty x ridgeback )(mother:rotty x staffy)
*the price was $70
i asked if i could see the pups and asked how many was left he said 7
i was excpecting to be able to veiw all 7 as i was a "potential" buyer
anyways he brought out 3 of the 7 pups
the father, mother and other mix bred yappy dog came running out of the front door
anyways the 3 he brought out were all very skinny they looked nothing like a rotty or anything to be honest
they were like yellow/brown/tan big floppy ears and just really weird looking
after holding one of the pups and putting it back on the ground i got to talking to the owner
he told me the price etc
i asked how old he said 7 weeks
i asked the price he said $70
he said they were wormed but no microchipped or vac "which is excpected for around here
i asked him so how many were in the litter he said 11 but all up the mum has had approx 70 pups
70 pups for a dog that is not even 4 yrs old
i was discusted
so im just wonderin would you make a complaint against the owner to the rspca?etc?
the pups were so unhealthy and everytime i drive past i wonder what will happen to the other pups left over?if he cant find homes
70 pups omg still cant beleive it

Hmmm i would talk tot he RSPCA tell them what is going on... If he is in anyway neglecting the pups they could atleast warm him and give him a scare..

there is a place that is not far frome me has a litter of pups atleast every 6 months.......... poor dogs.

Re: what would you do?
Yes I agree ..but here in the UK we do not have much faith in the RSPCA but you must report this to someone it is so sad to see this happening

Re: what would you do?
Neither do we here in Australia however reading their annual report recently they took about 500+ people to court and they won about 98% of their cases. It gave me a new outlook on them but they are still paper tigers.herbiedog wrote:Yes I agree ..but here in the UK we do not have much faith in the RSPCA but you must report this to someone it is so sad to see this happening
