My Disappearence....

Hi everyone sorry I have not been on the board for the last month or facebook either. I have been in hospital for a month. I went in for a short stay in January with a toe infection that quickly took hold and had to return a week later. My haemaglobins were down and I needed a blood transfusions (4 in total) I have had surgery on my feet and lost a toe in the process. I have major issues with my feet for almost seven years and I am hoping that we have finally come to the end of the road.  I need to heal and get some custom made shoes and some newly made toes to fill my shoes but we are getting there. I thank you all for your concern but I am okay and will continue on taking it one day at a time. Thanks Louise

Sorry to hear about all the foot trouble.. hope it is better soon.

Me to I have had almost seven  years of foot trouble and I am  hoping against hope this is my last hospital stay. 

OMG 7 years that is a long time for feet,

It feels like a lifetime believe me. Seven years of hell to be honest but I have managed to get through it. The thought of being able to have my feet in the ocean again makes me very happy and that is my ultimate goal.

No never needed crutches special shoes thats all. Can walk fine without them thank god could not carry the pumps and crutches it would be impossible. The wounds are looking good and healing well its been almost three weeks since my surgery now.
