Henna Art

My new interest is Henna Art. I have the starter pkg and practiced some of the design basics on my hand, but only with a sharpie. (fine tip pen)
The pic is not clear but, it looks good from my yard and I''ll just get beetter. It's gonna be my old lady job when, well, when ever...
OK don't laugh, it actually looks pretty good! next week, I try the real stuff!

Henna art is beautiful and the designs when done can be spectacular I would imagine it is not easy drawing on yourself at all. It looks good try your camera on macro when you take shots like this it will make them clearer. 

Gonna try it for real this weekend on my friend! If it comes out crappy she can hide it easily, we are all bundled up here! Brrr, another storm tomorrow!

I saw a thing on one of the currrent affairs programs not long ago about a family getting henna art on. Unfortunatly whatever was used scarred these two children for life here a a few stories. Lorie be careful with this stuff.

Shereem, yes! While I am learning about this there are many warnings about Black Henna, and how it is not really Henna or something! I will be very careful, there was a post on the Henna board about a client getting an allergic reaction to one of the essential oils... I will take the time to read the links when i get to work LOL, school cancelled today, big ice storm out there. Slip slidin into work..

Doesnt sound good at all Lorie, slipn and slidn to work. Don't you just wish you could stay at home?? Snuggle in for the day. Unrealistic I know but a nice thought.

It wasn't good!! But, I had to be here for food delivery! Nothing much to do, we did so much over x-mas break, everythings clean..booooringggg..

It is not much fun when work is slow it takes forever for the day to go. I see you were busy in other ways however taking photos and posting them. You have to kill time some way. Your lucky enough to be able to take your dog to work.

Washed my hsnd 25 times yesterday, still on... The glitter is just to make it pretty while it is dying the skin. I must admit, I love glitter too... did my leg last night with the rest of it..

Depends on the mixture, I'm hoping a cople weeks with this recipe... going on day 4 with my hand!

Oh okay that  long... it is a beautiful art forum however.

I'm still in the scribbling stage, hope to do some real designs after getting some transfer paper. This weather does not encourage anyone to take a drive unless necessary..
