Prince is coming for Christmas.

:puppy97: I am so excited. A had an email from one of our puppy owners. (The pup is on the banner top right corner) His name is Prince and he is training to be an assistance dog.
He is coming to stay with us for a few days at christmas. Angel will be sooo excited!!!!
Prince lives in NSW and we are in QLD so we only get emails from him and dont get to see him grow up. We get to see two of the girl pups Delila and Asha.
Angel loves it when her pups come to visit. She goes mental and runs around like she is a pup too. They are 6 months old on the 19th December so we are having a reunion with maybe 5 of the pups. It will be caos with 5 labrador pups running around with their crazy mum lol.
Any suggestions for a 6 month cake??? There will be treats galore and treat lolly bags for them to take home... Just like I did with their puppy packs

Is is really true, they remember their pups??? Please say yes, I have always wondered, but then i wonder if they are sad when their babies are taken from them in the first place..

yes i would be sad and i think they do get sad but they get over it

Yes they do remember them. If I go visit one of them Angel runs over to me and her nose wont leave me. She sniffs me all over as close as she can.
When they come to play she mothers them and still protects them from our other dog and she wont let my other dog play with them.
She fleas the pups too everytime she sees them.

we were whipper snipping the grass yesterday...angel and I .. and Delilah one of her pups was coming home from her walk... she only lives across the road but angel only sees her every few weeks.
Deelilah was so thirsty from her walk she went straight up to angel and tried to have a drink... just shows their instinct to go straight to mum for a drink even when they are 6 months old... poor girl we got her a bucket of water.

How did the visit go?

Prince went home today... He was such a sweet boy. I will post some photos later. I forgot to take photos of him and the other pups the morning was too busy so I just have photos of him with angel.

I look forward to seeing prince and angel together.

oh well angel loved his visit. they played all day everyday. We got Delilah and Asha to come play too (two of her other pups) But I forgot to take photos. They all got on fine. prince was a bit timid when her first came but angel fleaed him all over and he settled down... lol mothers instincts lol
