we went to woolies to get stuff for dinner tonight
anyways got out of my car and this guy pulled a little rotty pup out of his car

sooooooo cute Rolling Eyes
my first instinct was to pat her but he pulled her away Crying or Very sad
anyways we got to talking to him about were and how much blabla
anyways i asked y wont u let people pat her he goes because shes going to be a guard dog affraid confused
then my 3 yr old son walks over and goes ohh baby zander and went to pat her
no dont touch he goes

anyways got to talking i said yer u might want a guard dog but it isnt good to stop kids touching them!!
anyways he goes i have 7 grand kids

scratch
anyways the pup was only 5 weeks old affraid
and we just walked away because i cant beleive some people!! Evil or Very Mad
made me so mad that this dog will never have contact with kids (and that it might attack one later on
plus the fact he had her on common ground at 5 weeks old
she had such a great little face and temperament!!
i fear for the pup and cant imagine what her life will be like Sad

What an idiot, five weeks is much too young to be away from mum, also she is probably unvaccinated etc what a wanker. Wants a guard dog PFT rotties know how to be guard dogs without that rubbish. Poor little darling she is going to have a HELL of a life. Doesn't it just just want to make you grab her and run just to rescue them out of that life of hell.

5 weeks old yer vets do it in some specail cases like a bad case of parvo going around but at 5 weeks old just coz they wanted it early
he also so she was fully papered!! for $500
we tried telling thaat zander had contact with people since we got him and he is a great guard dog!!!
well if we hear in 2 yrs time that a child was bitten by a rottie in the huntervalley i no were i will be looking
so ignarant people are these days

Yes, Rotties are a natural guard dog, and doing that will not only make it aggressive to others, but properly to the owner later on in life. Poor Pup.
And 5 weeks is way too young, 8 weeks min. Obivously going to have problems socialising in general leaving mum so early.

And its a laugh to say he got papers for the pup! Mad NO WAY will a breeder give a pup so young. Its not ethical in any way. I'm sure it was just a dodgy backyard job, that made there own 'papers' as alot do, and people perceive them as the real thing. I bet he's never seen a real Pedigrees dog papers.

Poor pup though, I love rotties so much, and they are a great family pet which will guard them with there life. No need for anti-socialising.
Sad. Crying or Very sad

You have hit the nail right on the head a registered breeder would not allow puppies to leave at five weeks. Poor darling.
