have no idea
if this is the correct place to post if not redirect the post thanks.
we i am about to rescue 3 ex cage laying hens and of course they are all bald, have had beaks cut back and are very skinny over all they will not be in good contition. i am building a very large coop at the side of our house so that new and old chickens have more room to well be chickens.
what i wanted to know is does anybody have any tips to get these chickens back to good health.. featherd and fattened up a little.

sorry dont know anything about chooks... my sister has 4 red ones. they roam around the yard for an hour every afternoon.. she feeds them every scrap possible and they eat it all.. she feeds them laying mash also and gets heeps of eggs.. she has like a dog house with straw in it in their coop and they love it.. lots of eggs so they must be happy

Do a google search on chicken health and fattening see if there are any chicken forums and breeders and I am sure there are... ask for advice and see how you go. A couple of links below hope these help email a few of the breeders surely they could help you.
