Very poorly Skip
My Auntie and Uncles dog Skip is very.. very poorly... in February he was diagnosed with epilepsy and has had 5 fits in all and this weekend he was rushed back to the vets with violent sickness which the vet treated him for gastroenteritis but even when he was given antisickness jabs and Antibiotics his tempertature just kept soaring...
Today things have just got worse and he has been given ultrascans and it has been found he has a mass on his liver altho the liver looks fine..
I wondered if everyone would send positive good vibes to Herbies bestest friend... who we love to bits ...( we are prepareing our selves for the worse.... but just don't want to give up on him so we are all trying to send good vibes his way..)
Thank you everyone..

Re: Very poorly Skip
Hey good luck to Herbies mate...
We had a Rotti that had Epilepsy, was a condition she got very young. Zenna (Rotti) lived till she was nearly 6yrs, but mind it was hard to control. With many $$$ spent at the Vet's. But at least she had the chance to live a great life with her family an friends. She was happy an always enjoyed playin. (
Soz memories...)
Hopefully all goes ok an they can do some good.

Re: Very poorly Skip
That is good he is home and yes thank god for pet insurance I agree my aunt had her sheltie (shetland sheepdog) to the vet recently with a broken leg the first surgery cost $1700 and now the dog had to have a second one because the plate moved away from the broken bone and then required pins. She has not had the bill for that one!! And no she does not have pet insurance.
