Then she told us all that she ...

We love to go to the park and beach with our dogs, but having two small kids and holding the dogs while playing on the swings etc,is difficult,so I let the dogs run around free, but Milly chases after other dogs,if someone comes walking through the park with a dog on the lead, milly will run up to it trying to bite it,she is tiny, but hates big dogs, only out,not at home, she is ...

I had all my litter toilet trained to either newspaper or grass by 4 weeks. The new owners of these puppies were so greatful that the hard work was done for them. The mother dog will only clean up the pups until they start eating solids. As soon as pups start on solids when they have finished eating pup them straight on newspaper or grass. i have even heard of people using kittylitter for smaller breeds but our babies were too big for this!

A well trained pup reflects on how the breeder helps ...

This guy is great!!!

However I think the most important lesson he has for all dog owners is to establish being the "Alpha" of the pack!

Which is why he has so many animals that all get along.
He's the boss there "#1" and all his dogs are equally no.2's

She is walked for at least 45min everyday and 4 time a week goes to the dog park to have a good sniff around..

on the lead she is the best most well behaved dog in the world but off she is a looney.. ...

Hi all,

New to the fourm, but not to dogs!

I wanted to share my opinions of training methods.

A lot of people are still very quick to recomend the use of choker chains, although they cause neck problems, and also behaviour problems, with the object that it is being pulled away from.

I don't use collars very often at all, for large dogs that pull I use a Halti or Gentle leader.

For small dogs I use harnesses.

For dogs that don't pull I use a leather lined ...
